NBA All-Star weekend is upon us, the ultimate 3-day celebration of NBA talent and culture and it’s about time a light was shone on UK talent too. That’s why we work with our partner on the ground in London, Hoopsfix, to host their very own showcase of the best Under-19 players in the country every year, the Hoopsfix All-Star Classic.

It’s not just a pair of all-star games for boys and girls, though.

Throw in a kids’ clinic for under-12s, a coaching clinic, a 3-point shootout and dunk contest and you start to get a flavour for a platform that creates moments to last generations.

We are ten years deep into our partnership with the NBA - giving us exclusive access, opportunities and merch that doesn’t exist elsewhere, including the latest New Era pack and Jordan All-Star drop. 

And so, as we head into the second year of our work with the Hoopsfix All-Star Classic, we drafted in four rising Hoopsfix All-Stars to model for our NBA All-Star shoot.

Bowman, a 6’5” wing, is one of the UK’s top players in the Class of 2021 and opted out of a full scholarship to an NCAA Division 1 programme to return to the UK and play for his hometown club Derby Trailblazers while he surveys professional offers for next season.

Eighteen-year-old Kane Daley has turned heads averaging double digits against men in National Basketball League Division 1 for Oaklands this season and will likely be heading to the US next year.

Susannah Rafiu, long known as one of the UK’s brightest talents, gets it done both on the court and in the classroom. The 6’2” forward is heading to the Ivy League next season to play for Columbia University.

Cameron Taylor-Willis, the MVP of the 2021 Hoopsfix All-Star Classic, turned down a scholarship offer in the States to represent her hometown side, Ipswich, before she heads to Women’s British Basketball League side, Essex Rebels, next season.

All four players brought that all-star energy as they prepare to blaze their own trail to the top of British basketball.
